Privacy policy

A short, plain-language summary of how I handle your personal data when you get in touch through this website.

Who is the data controller?

What data do I collect, and why?

When you fill in the contact form, I ask for your name, e-mail address, the date and venue of your wedding, and your message. I use this information for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry, check whether your date is free and send you a personal proposal.

The legal basis for this is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, once we start discussing a booking, the steps taken before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

How long do I keep it?

• If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months at the latest.
• If you book me, your details become part of our contract and I keep them for as long as Hungarian accounting and tax law requires (currently 8 years).

Who else sees your data?

Nobody, except the technical service providers that keep this website and my e-mail running (website hosting: Pixieset; e-mail: Google Workspace). They process data on my behalf and under their own GDPR-compliant terms. I never sell or pass on your data for marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the technically necessary cookies required for it to work, plus anonymised visitor statistics. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by me.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to tell you what data I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, or to hand it over to you in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Simply write to info@sgphoto.hu and I'll take care of it promptly.

If you feel your data has been mishandled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.

Photographs

The photographs I take at your wedding are covered by our contract. I only publish images on this website or on social media with your written consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
